Memorable Quotes
  • Sarah Jane: Is there anything more beautiful than a star-filled sky? As a child, I would dream of what might be up there, but never imagined that one day I would find out. The fiery rings of Coulabria, interstellar lightning across the Voorheiden Horizon. I've seen the death of worlds and the birth of stars. So many wonderful sights, and things to terrify, even here on Earth. Because, although it's easy to forget, we're a part of the universe too, and we really aren't alone. Sometimes, the most amazing people and creatures can find their way to Earth, and so can the most terrifying...
  • Luke: I've got to go soon. Saturday is band night at the Student Union.
Clyde: What? You're going to watch a band!? We are talking music here? Electric guitars, drums. Not some physics experiment with elastic, right?
  • Sarah Jane: Luke was born a 13 year old boy. A teenager I can handle, but a baby? An alien baby? I need help.
    Rani: Don't look at me.
    Clyde: Or me. Obviously.
  • Clyde: An alien baby turns up on your doorstep and a meteor crashes on the same night? That's, like, a galactic coincidence.
  • Gita: Did you hear that?
Haresh: Don't worry. After the lights exploding and all the car alarms going off, it'll probably be the gas mains blowing up. Just a regular day on Bannerman Road...
  • Clyde: Typical. I'm in the middle of a nuclear power station and I'm carrying Baby Bang Bang!
  • Sarah Jane: Come on, we may not have much time!
  • The Metalkind: The fresh-whelp must be destroyed!
  • Rani: What just happened?
Sarah Jane: I think Sky just grew up.
Clyde: What? With no birthdays? That's just rubbish!
  • Sarah Jane: None of us can help the way we come into this universe, but we all have a say in what we become.
  • Clyde: Welcome to the Bat Cave!
Sky: There's a cave on top of the house?
Rani: It's not a cave. It's an attic. Clyde was joking again. He does that. Sort of...
  • Sky: I like Earth. It's beautiful, noisy, smelly...
  • Sky: Sarah Jane, can you help me?
  • Sarah Jane: Take me to your leader.
  • Clyde: (To Sky) Look, this is a nuclear power station, which makes going in there with you like doing a Houses of Parliament tour with Guy Fawkes.
  • Miss Myers: What would you put first, Miss Smith? One child, or the entire world?
    Sarah Jane: Wait and see.
  • Miss Myers: The end is nigh!
  • Sarah Jane: I'm too tired to think of clever answers for awkward questions.
  • Sarah Jane: The most wonderful thing about the universe is that there's always something more amazing to come.
