Rani Chandra was the 'new kid on the block', so to speak, who moved into 36 Bannerman Road with her parents - Gita and Haresh - after Maria and her dad leave for a new life abroad.

A budding journalist, it wasn't long before Rani discovered that living across the road was a mysterious lady, and when she discovered her neighbour's work with extraterrestrial life, she would've done anything to get in on it herself.

Her prayers were soon unwittingly answered when she encountered Odd Bob the clown, and she joined forces with the team to stop him from rising to power. After stepping inside the attic, she realised that this new world wasn't one you can easily turn your back on, and she has now become a fully-fledged member of the gang.
